Airborne Speedway/Hockey Plus Padres Matt Rivers (88) lays out fully extended for the diving catch in left field to take away a sure hit from the Fourth Ward Athletics. The Airborne Speedway/Hockey Plus Padres would go for the 25-3 victory and will advance to next week's semifinal contest against the Meron's Expos. The game would be tight at 5-1 going into the bottom of the seventh inning when the Padres would explode for 12 runs and then would go on to add another 8 runs in the last two innings for the convincing victory.

The annual truck and tractor pull to return to the Clinton County Fair in Plattsburgh in front of a jam-packed crowd. There would be a total of 19 classes for the all-night affair. Gallery

The Adirondack Truck and Tractor Pullers kicked off there 2010 season in Hopkinton, NY. There was a total of 11 class with around 50 hooks on the day in front of the standing room only crowd at the fire department. Jason Van De Wert and the Renegade would go onto to win the 11,000lb and 12,500lbs Altered Stock. Gallery

Plattsburgh North Stars Kevin Gibson (53) takes down the Broome County Dragon running back with the shoulder-high tackle. The North Stars would get the 17-0 win over the Broome County Dragons. The game would remain scoreless until 4 minutes into the second quarter when Elisa Parks ran it in. Then just four minutes later the North Stars would add another rushing touchdown on Michael Jenkins 14 yard scamper. Then in the third quarter, Mitch Ryder would end the scoring on a 28-yard field goal. With the win, the North Stars improve 3-0, 2-0 in the EFL as they will host the newest member to the Empire Football League New York Stallions on July 24th at Plattsburgh High. Gallery
