Then just over four minutes later at the 7:42 mark of period the Red Dragons would extend there lead to 2-0 on the goal by Doug Eglstram his second of the night. The game would stay there till the 12:44 mark of the second period when the Red Dragons would strike again on the Shane Beaulieu goal to make it 3-0. The Cardinals would finally get on the broad just over 30 seconds later when Brandon Young would score to make it a 3-1 game. Then on the powerplay at the 16-minute mark, the Cardinals would strike again this time from Cullen Kane for his first goal as a Cardinal. The game would remain a one-goal till the 2:28 mark of the third when Doug Eglstram would get his hat trick goal and take the two-goal lead back. The game would stay there till the 11-minute mark of the third when Cullen Kane would strike again and make it a 4-3 game. Then just 12 seconds later the comeback would be complete when Andrew Pizzo would score off the face-off and we would have a 4-4 game. The game would change in the weirdest way with just under five minutes when Stefano Alzoni was trying to dump the puck down the ice Brandon Wells would try and catch it and it would bounce off his glove and end up in the net and that would end up being the winning foal as the Cardinals fall 5-4.
