Plattsburgh State's Liam Lawson (39) slides in beating defense and taking the goalie on one on one. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #3 Geneseo State in SUNYAC Hockey action. The game would take til half way through the second period for the first goal of the game. The Knights would break the ice and take the lead 1-0 at the ten minute mark of the second period on the Chris Perna power play goal. The Cardinals would fight back and tie the game up at one a minute and half into the third period by Matt Arajuo. The game would stay there through regulation and head to overtime. In the overtime the Knights would get the game winner on the Tyson Empsey and the Cardinals would fall 2-1.
