It would be an Upstate New York Girls Hockey League game between the Plattsburgh Hornets and the Massena Red Raiders. The game would start off good for the visiting Red Raiders as they would get the opening goal from Megs Wilmshurst 46 seconds into the game. Although the Hornets would keep the fight up and tie the game at 1 on Ada Johnson's goal at the 6:17 mark of the first period. The game would stay there til the 5:53 mark of the second period when the Red Raiders would regain the lead on the Hannah Chilton goal. Although it would be short-lived as the Hornets would tie it up at 2 90 seconds later on the Avery Holland goal. Although once again the Red Raiders would get the lead back on a goal at the 6:29 mark of the third period to make it 3-2. Once again the Hornets would tie the game up at three with 90 seconds left in regulation on the Gillan Boule goal to force. In the overtime, it would come quick as Massena Red Raiders Hannah Chilton lights the lamp 31 seconds in for the 4-3 victory. In the losing effort, the Plattsburgh Hornets fall to 6-2 on the season.
