It would be physical and evenly matched game throughout with both teams looking for the upper hand in the match. It would take all the way till there was 3:30 left in the second period before we would have are first goal on the night and it would come from Plattsburgh State's Bennett Stockdale to give the Cardinals the 1-0 lead. That is where the game would remain until the final minute of the game when Bennett Stockdale would seal the game away with the empty netter to give the Cardinals the 2-0 win in front of 1,100 fans. In the winning effort Eli Shiller would make 26 saves in the shutout victory as the Cardinals go to 11-4-2 on the season.
