It would be the last game of the 2022 Clinton Community College Holiday Classic and it would pit the Saranac Chiefs and Boquet Valley Griffins with the winner being named the boy portions champion. The game would start off well for the Chiefs as they would be on fire and have a 20-3 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Chiefs would stay hot but the Griffins would find their stroke the Chiefs would win the quarter 20-16 and take a 40-19 lead into halftime. When the teams came back for the third quarter the Chiefs would continue their hot hand with a 23-4 quarter and take a 63-23 lead into the 4th quarter. In that 4th quarter with the winning a forgone conclusion the Chiefs would win the quarter 16-7 and get the convincing 70-39 victory. With the win, the Saranac Chiefs win the boy's portion of the 2022 Holiday Classic making it a clean sweep for the Saranac Chiefs at the Holiday Classic the boy's team would go to 4-5 on the season and the Griffins fall to 3-3 on the year.
