Plattsburgh State's Daniel Umbro (40) and Brockport State's Ethan Stiles (7) battle for possession on the opening face-off of the game. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Brockport State Golden Eagles in SUNYAC Lacrosse action. The game would not start off good for the home Cardinals as they would be down 3-0 after the first quarter on goals from Owen VanWie, Rocco Santillo, and Jhovanny Olivares. In the second quarter, the Cardinal's luck would not be much better as the Eagles would win the quarter 5-1 and take an 8-1 lead into the locker room on goals from Owen VanWie (second) Nelson Logan, Rocco Santillo (second and third), and Carson Colucci while getting the lone goal for the Cardinals would be Owen Lorenzetti. When the teams came back for the second half the Cardinals still wouldn't have any luck as they got outscored 5-0 on Rocco Santillo (fourth), Ethan Stiles (second), and Owen Vanwie (third), Carson Colucci (second) and Ryan McCarthy.
