Saranac's McKenna Brown (12) with the three from the wing as the Boquet Valley defender comes charging. It would be the opening game of the Clinton Community College Holiday Classic and it would feature the Boquet Valley Griffins and the Saranac Chiefs. The game would start off good for the Chiefs as they would have a 19-10 lead after the first quarter, In the second quarter, In the second quarter as the Chiefs would win the quarter by a slim 13-11 and would take a 32-21 lead into the intermission. When they returned from the break the Chiefs would stay hot and start to put the game away with a 13-8 quarter and take a 45-29 lead into the fourth. In the fourth, the Chiefs would finish the game off on a 14-11 quarter and secure the 59-39 victory. With the win the Chiefs go to 4-3 season and while be back in action tomorrow against the Peru Knighthawks as the Boquet Valley Griffins fall to 3-3 and are back in action tomorrow against the Beekmantown Eagles.
