In the second quarter, the home Hornets would do their best to keep the game close but the Bobcats win the quarter 13-9 and take a 28-18 lead into the locker room. The home Hornets would look too hot and cut into the Bobcats lead but their defense would be up to the challenge and have a 14-5 quarter and take a 42-23 lead into the fourth. In the fourth quarter, the Bobcats would stay on the gas and pull away with a 17-7 quarter and win the game 59-30.
