In the closing days of the 2020 Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Girl's Soccer season, the Northeastern Clinton Cougars would travel to Plattsburgh and take on the Seton Catholic Knights. The Cougars would get the opening goal of the match from Sample at the 13th minute to take the 1-0 lead. The Cougars would keep the pedal down and expand the lead to 2-0 on the Letourneau goal. The game would remain there through the rest of the half and into the early part of the second half when the Cougars would take the 3-0 lead in the 51st minute on the LaFountain goal.
