Make A Wish Night Presented by Liquor and Wine Warehouse - Plattsburgh Airborne Speedway - July 13th 2019

4 wide

The Chris Frennier Motorsports Strictly Stock would take it four wide into turn 1 during the heat race you have Caleb Tourville, Michael Daniels, Clemente Bell, and Matt Leonard and they all made it out the other side. It would be round 12 at Plattsburgh Airborne Speedway and it would be Make A Wish Night Presented by Liquor and Wine Warehouse. It would be a great night of racing at the track with many close races through out the night and a few photo finishes along the way. As for the main events on the night it would be the Chris Frennier Strictly Stock that would be first up and after a battle between Josh Laporte, Caleb Tourville, and Nathan Smart there would be late race restart with 2 to go. Off the restart Nathan Smart would get the edge and take the victory. Next up would be the Egglefield Ford 358 Modifieds and once again Mike Mahaney would jump out to the lead and we thought the race was over. We would be wrong though as Stephen Bernier would keep chipping away at the lead and after Mahaney got held up in lap traffic Bernier would get the lead and win with two laps to go. Then it would be Porier's True Value Sportsman Modified on tap and this race would go caution free for the main event. Mike Phinney would get the lead off the start of race although he would be challenged early by Tanner Forbes and Derrick McGrew he would hold them off. Although Travis Bruno and Adam Pierson were charging from mid pack and with five laps to go they would get around him and then the two would go at it for the win with Adam Pierson getting the eventual win for the third time this season. Then we would have the Novice Sportsman Modified and it would be a wire to wire win for Robert Laware but he would have challenge from Mark Fewster and Justin Stone. Then we would have the Ernie's Discount Tools Super Stock on track and Michael Wright would take the early lead and fend off Rolland Guay early. Although the cream of the crop would come up and give Wright a fight in the likes of Tylor Terry and Shawn Duquette and with three laps to go they would get around Wright as his car would get loose off of turn two. Then Duquette and Terry would battle for the lead down the stretch with the advantage going to Terry. The racetrack will be silent next weekend as the County Fair takes center stage but will return to racing action July 27th with are 2nd Hall of Fame Night. Gallery Video DVD
