The Plattsburgh team celebrates along the end boards as they get the game-winner in overtime. Plattsburgh State Cardinals would defeat the Fredonia State Blue Devils 3-2 in overtime. The Cardinals would get the scoring started with 5 minutes left in the first for the 1-0 lead. Jared Dockings would give the Cardinals a 2-0 lead with 8 minutes left in the second. Then in the third period, Blue Devils would come storming with two goals in the period to force overtime. Ryan Craig would send the fans home happy with his game-winner just a minute into the extra period.
