The Plattsburgh North Stars traveled north of the broader to tangle Quebec Titans in the semi-finals of the Empire Football Playoffs. In a game that would see the North Stars never trail it was a very physical contest with both teams playing stellar defense. The game was so good that players decided to play an extra quarter. The North Stars would prevail in the extra stanza with a 22-19 and the celebration was on. With the win, North Stars will travel to Watertown to take on the Red & Black for the league championship on October 10th at Alex Duffy Fairgrounds with a 7:30 kickoff. The North Stars will be avenged a regular-season defeat by the Red & Black.
