Then at the 10:23 mark of the second period, the Eagles would tie the game up at one on Johanna Eidensten's goal. Then just 12 seconds into the third period Shannon Stewart would score on the powerplay to make it 2-1 Cardinals. Then just over three minutes, the Cardinals would extend the lead to 3-1 on Melissa Sheeran's goal. Then another three minutes later Cardinal's Mia Favretto would score to make it 4-1. The Soaring Eagles would add a late goal to make it 4-2 but it would not be enough as the Cardinals would get the 4-2 win and go to 8-0-2 on the season. Gallery
