Plattsburgh State's Kyle Hall (10) looks to put it in on the doorstep. It would be the semi-finals of the SUNYAC Hockey Tournament and it would feature the #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals and the #6 Brockport State Golden Eagles for the right to go to the finals. It would be a game that would turn into a goal-fest. As the Cardinals would have a 4-1 lead after the first period on goals from Connor Toomey (twice) along with Dillan Fox and Mark Constatine getting the goal for the Eagles would be Bobby Chayka. The second period would belong to the Eagles as they would get three goals from Bobby Chayka (twice) and Troy Polino to tie the game at four. In the final period, the Cardinals would outscore the Eagles 3-1 with goals from Mark Constatine, Connor Gorman, and Michael Cassidy, and getting the lone goal for the Eagles would be Chris Luker as the Cardinals get the 7-5 victory.
