Saranac's (8) slides in safe at third under the tag. It would be the Saranac Chiefs and the Plattsburgh Hornets in Section 7 JV baseball. It would be a day that would be in favor of the Hornets as they would take the quick 2-0 lead in the first. They would extend the lead in the third to 5-0. The in the top of the fourth Chiefs would get on the board to make it 5-1. Although at the bottom of the inning the Hornets would break the game wide open and take a 10-1 lead. Then in the sixth, the Chiefs would get a couple to try and get back in the game and make it 10-3. That's where the game would finish as the Hornets would get the 10-3 victory.
