Northeastern Clinton's Dayton Roberts (21) skates in front of the net and slides it past Saranac's Jeff Smith (41) for his second goal of the night. The Saranac Chiefs would host the Northeastern Clinton Cougars in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference action at the Ronald Stafford Ice Arena at Plattsburgh State. The game would remain scoreless away until the 2:46 mark of the second period when Dayton Roberts would light the lamp for the 1-0 Cougars lead. Dayton Roberts would strike again at 12:39 mark this time with the short-handed goal to give the Cougars the 2-0 lead. In the third, the Chiefs would strike with just over five minutes left to make it a 2-1 game down the stretch on Danny Bridgeman's goal. Although the Cougars would strike twice in the matter of fives with under two minutes left on Jordan Lemere and Nick Leduc's goals to give the Cougars the 4-1 victory. In the winning effort, Ryan Roberts would make 30 saves on the night as the Cougars go to 5-4-1 on the season while the Chiefs fall to 3-7-1. Gallery

Northeastern Clinton's Anthony Piche (1) with the pad save that he sends to corner. The Malone Huskies would host the Northeastern Clinton Cougars in non-league action. The game would remain scoreless until the 7:49 mark of the second when Mason Letourneau would get the opening goal for the Cougars to make it 1-0. The Cougars would extend the lead to 2-0 on Ryan Marks's unassisted goal in the final minute of the period. In the third period, the Huskies would fight and cut the lead to 2-1 on Jordan Schraf with under five minutes left in the game. The Cougars would secure the 3-1 victory with 3:43 left on Mason Latourneau's second goal of the game. In the winning effort, Anthony Piche would make 30 stops as the Cougars go to 4-4-1 on the season as the Huskies fall to 5-9-1 on the season. Gallery

Malone's Kyler Head (20) scores the goal while sliding on his knee. The Malone Huskies would host the Thousand/Alex Bay Islanders in Section X Division action. The Huskies would take the early 1-0 lead on Bailey Conklin's goal at 1:35 of the first. The Huskies would extend the lead to 2-0 on Kyler Head's goal at 12:04 of the first. Then with just over a minute left in the first Cam Morgan would cut the Huskies lead in half at 2-1. The Huskies would quickly regain the two-goal lead at 1:25 of the second on Kyler Head's second goal of the game at 3-1. Then at 6:10 of the second Jake Henning would extend the Huskies lead to 4-1. In the third period, the Islanders would try and get back in the game at 8:44 on a short-handed goal by Garrett Denny to make it 4-2, and that's where the game would finish. With the win, the Huskies snap a four-game losing streak and go to 5-8-1 on the season. Gallery

Plattsvegas' wide receiver with the juggling catch along the end lines for the score. In the fourth game of week eight the Plattsvegas Packers would take on the Plain White T's. The first half would be a very slow-paced as the Packers would have the 20-13 lead at the break. In the second half the pace would pick up but the Plain White T's couldn't make up the differences as the teams traded scores at three each to give the Packers 40-32 victory. Gallery

Pink Panther's wide receiver with the catch over the middle in traffic. In-game three of Week eight of the season the Pink Panthers would take on the CJ Tunes and Photography. The Pink Panthers would run there normal run and gun offense as they would outscore CJ's 5-3 in the first half for the 33-18 lead at the break. In the second half, it would be more of the same the Panthers outscored the 6-3 for the 73-32 victory. With the win the Pink Panthers finish the season undefeated and lock up the number one seed. Adirondack J's Eric Labonte (21) wrestles the ball away from DB Xtreme's Joey Gillespie (23) for the touchdown. In-game two of the eighth and final week of the season Adirondack J's would meet up with the DB Xtreme. The Adirondack J's would get on the board first on Craig Livsey touchdown in the 4th minute. In the 10th minute, the Adirondack J's would extend the lead to 15-0 on Doroucher's touchdown. The DB Xtreme would get on the board in the 13th minute to cut the lead to 15-7. In the 16th minute, Adirondack J's DJ Barber would make it a 21-7 game on the touchdown. The DB Xtreme would cut the lead in half again at 21-13. Then with four minutes left in the first Adirondack J's Bushey would score to give the J's the 29-13 lead at the break. In the second half the DB Xtreme would outscore them 4-2 but it would not be enough as the Adirondack J's would hold on for 44-41 win. With the win, the Adirondack J's secure the second seed in the playoffs next week. Gallery

Rand Hill Painters Kenji Jones and Clinton Gladiators leap for the ball along the sidelines that Kenji Jones came down with the catch. In-game one of the eighth and final week of the season the Rand Hill Painters would meet up with the Clinton Gladiators. The Gladiators would get off to the quick 12-0 lead on two scores in the first five minutes. Rand Hill would get on the board in the tenth minute on Scott Auguila's touchdown to make it 12-7. Then in the fifteenth minute, Rand Hill would take the 13-12 lead on Karnley's touchdown. Then to finish out the first half the Gladiators would score three times to take the 34-13 lead at the break. In the second half, Rand Hill would have no answer for the Gladiators as the Gladiators outscored them 4-1 and took the 59-13 win. With the win, the Gladiators clinched the third seed in the playoffs next weekend. Gallery

Plattsburgh State's Sydney Aveson (31) with the stick save for one of her 18 saves on the day. The #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Cortland State Red Dragons in ECAC-West action going for the clean sweep. The Cardinals would pick up right where they left off last night as they would light six times in the first period. For the six goals in the period, there would be five different goal scores lighting the lamp would be Allison Era (twice), Chelsea VanGalahan, Bridget Bailsey, Jordan Caldwell, and Kathleen Turk. When the teams came back for second period there would be no let-up in the Cardinals as they would get four more goals for 10-0 lead. The goal scores would be Giovanna Sense, Chelsea VanGalahan twice to complete the hat trick, and Maggie Kolton. The Red Dragons would get a goal in the third period to avoid the shutout. In the winning effort, Sydney Aveson would stop 18 of 19 shots as the Cardinals stay undefeated on the season. Gallery

Plattsburgh State's Giovanna Sense (20) spins and fires the puck over the down and out Cortland State goaltender for the goal. The #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Cortland State Red Dragons in ECAC-West division action. The Cardinals would take the early 1-0 lead on Chelsea VanGlahan's goal at 1:21 of the first. The Cardinals would add one more in the first at 14:47 from Caitlin Gilligan for the 2-0 lead after the first. Then in the second period, Shannon Stewart would get three straight goals at 2:57, 6:27, and 8:51 for the hat trick and give the Cardinals the 5-0 lead. Then in the last couple minutes of the second Jenny Kistner would light the lamp for the 6-0 lead. The game would stay there till the 16-minute mark of the third when Giovanna Sense would get her second of the night for the 7-0 lead. Then to finish the game Jordan Lipson would score in the final minutes for the 8-0 victory. In the winning effort, Sydney Aveson would make 11 stops for the shutout win as the Cardinals stay undefeated on the season. Gallery

The Malone Huskies would host the Gouvenour Wildcats in Section X Central Division action. The story of the game would be the Huskies full-court defense and it would be evident by the first quarter with a 22-9 lead. It would be more of the same in the second quarter as the Huskies won the quarter 19-1 and took a 41-10 lead into the break. In the second half it would be more of the same they took the half 33-11 and get the 74-21. In the winning effort, Rachel Lamica would lead the way with 15 points as the Huskies stay undefeated at 10-0 on the season. Gallery
